-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Preserve Planet Earth Youth Exchange One-Day Camp in Johor Bahru
Due to the Malaysian Elections, the camp has been postponed to the 19 of April, all interested Interactors can sign up at the notice board.
Rotary International District 3310 Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) Committee and the Johore Bahru City Council and Iskandar Development Region will be collaborating to organise a one-day trip to Johore Bahru for Interactors to help clean up Tebrau River as well as a reforestation project. This camp aims to promote understanding and friendship between youths from Singapore and Malaysia through fostering awareness and concern for the environment. The youth team will be led by Ms. Jessica Tan, Miss Singapore Universe, as well as Ms. Adeline Choo, Miss Malaysia World.
Date/Day: 19 April 2008
Time: 6am-2pm (tentative)
Cost: $10 per person (inclusive of lunch, coach transfers, insurance and goodie bags)
VJC Interact Club has been allocated only 20 slots for this camp so application is by a first-come-first-serve basis. For more details, check the Interact Notice Board located opposite the Koi Pond. Interested Interactors please fill in your particulars on the sign-up sheet at the Notice Board and take a copy of the application form. The deadline for the submission of application forms to the Interact Club Notice Board is 2nd April 2008 (Wednesday), 5pm. Late entries will not be entertained. Settlement of payment will be discussed later on.
JC1s are highly encouraged to take part in this as it will be a good opportunity for you to interact with Interactors from other schools as well as youths from Malaysia. CIP hours will be awarded and participation in this activity will be taken note of.

Thank you for your interest in joining our club! Please submit all forms that you have received today by this Friday, 22nd of February, between 1pm to 3.45pm in the concourse to the table which has the sign "Interact Club" on it. You will have to submit $12 for the camp as well by this Friday along with the forms.
For J1s who signed up during Orientation 1:
You should already know which homegroup you are in as well as have gotten the consent form for the Interact Camp held during the March Holidays (10th and 11th of March). For those who did not go down to the booth during the Orientation 2 CCA walkabout, please check the Interact Club Noticeboard which is located opposite the Koi Pond to find out your homegroup.
For those who did not receive the camp application form and consent form today, please get a copy of a camp application form and consent form each from the Noticeboard and this should be submitted by Friday along with the money. For those who are unable to hand in the forms between 1pm to 3.45pm, please inform your homegroup leaders (their contact numbers are on the Interact Club Noticeboard) and arrange for a separate meeting time on Friday.
